One of my favorite songs right now is the gypsy folk song "Alex" by Wild Child, an indie band from Austin, TX.
The song is on their new album "Expectations" which has been recorded in Tromsø (Norway), Philadelphia, and Texas, working with six different producers incl. Chris Walla (ex Death Cab for Cutie), Matthew Logan Vasquez (Delta Spirit), Scott McMicken (Dr. Dog) and Max Frost.
The vibe of "Alex" reminds me of classics like "Three is a magic number" by Bob Dorough, "5 years time" by Noah and the Whale, "Big Jumps" by Emiliana Torrini or "1234" by Feist to give you a couple of references.
